Find the location of the MAF sensor in your A6, unplug the electrical connectors, and remove the sensor from the housing. Spray at least 10 spurts of MAF cleaner onto the sensor and then let it air dry for an hour or until completely dry. Do not use cloth or cotton swabs to clean the sensor, as it can damage it.

Looked at vacuum hoses and noticed one that wasn't connected to anything. It's the one hi-lighted with yellow. It's located in back of the 3.0 and descends down behind the engine.
